SDS Recruiting Football Interview: 2015 WR Cam White

I had the privilege of interviewing Cam White an wide receiver and member of the 2015 football recruiting class. Cam White  is from Lima Central Catholic in Lima, Ohio. He is 6′ 0″ and weights 160 pounds. White is being recruited as a wide receiver.I created a list of 12 questions that I believe our audience would find interesting about the life of a young football recruit.These are the questions that I asked White, followed with his answers.

Question:  Which universities do you express interest in?

Cam White: The Ohio State University.

Question: Do you have a dream university?

Cam White: Yes, The Ohio State University.

Question: What do you look for in a University?

Cam White: Education and a great atmosphere.

Question: Does the fan base of the university make an impact on your recruitment?

Cam White: Yes.

Question: Based on national media and fan bases, does it matter what conference you play in?

Cam White: Yes.

Question: What is your 40 time?

Cam White: 4.83

Question: What is your max bench and max squat?

Cam White: Bench 215 Squat 330.

Question: What are your strengths?

Cam White: Catching the football, making big things happen out of nothing.

Question: What are your weaknesses?

Cam White: My weakness right now is my speed ill get it up though.

Question: As a wide receiver you get some of the glory when you complete a big play. What is your favorite part of the job as a wide receiver?

Cam White: Seeing how good I really am against lock down corners.

Question: Name a college or NFL athlete that people compare you to.

Cam White: Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson.

Question: What college or NFL athlete do you idolize and how do their skill sets match yours?

Cam White: Calvin Johnson because he’s big never drops the ball and knows how to get open.
