Chargers: Rivers Will Not Start Against Minnesota Fearing Injuries To Offensive Line.
This news is just being reported out of Chargers camp. San Diego Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers will not be the starting quarterback for the game Friday against the Minnesota Vikings. The Chargers have major injury concerns on the offensive line front. 3 of the 5 starting offensive linemen for the Chargers are injured and were not expected to play. To avoid Phillip Rivers getting injured they have announced back up quarterback Charlie Whitehurst will get the start.
Expect Chargers to sit Philip Riversagainst Vikings. Want to see Charlie Whitehurst respond as starter.
