San Diego State lost the second best running back in its history to the draft last season in Ronnie Hillman. Hillman broke school rushing records last season in total yards and was ranked among the best running backs in the nation. San Diego Sports Domination has decided to break down the Aztecs Running attack this season in order to find out just how good the backs can be. We have decided to compare Ronnie Hillman from last season and Adam Muema and Walter Kazee for the current season.

Four games into the 2012/13 San Diego State Football season the Aztec running back core is running over the opponents. San Diego Sports Domination has decided to give everyone the current stats followed by our yardage prediction.

Rushing Stats Up To Date

Player Att Yards AVG TD Long YPG
Adam Muema 64 458 7.2 4 83 114.5
Walter Kazee 51 341 6.7 5 26 85.3

The following chart is going to show a prediction based on statistics. I am going to take Adam Muema and Walter Kazee’s stats and predict how many yards they will finish the season with.  I am making the assumption that both running back will maintain the same yards per game average that they currently have. Adam Muema 114.5 and Walter Kazee 85.3. The yards total includes a possible bowl birth for San Diego State.

Final Yards Prediction

Player Yards TD Long YPG

Walter Kazee 1,108.7 16 26 85.3
