After a very wild ALDS and NLDA, we are down to our final 4 teams. Tigers, Yankees, Giants, and Cardinals. Here are my predictions.

Yankees vs. Tigers:

Well as much I as I hated seeing the Yankees beat the Orioles, the one thing that hurt the Orioles was lack of hitting, their pitching slowed down and cooled off many of the Yankee players. The Tigers are a whole different animal (no pun intended), the Tigers may not have as strong of shut down pitching as the O’s did, but they do have bats and one thing the O’s didn’t have, experience. If the Orioles can take the Yanks to 5, and force them to make clutch hits and homeruns, the Tigers should get the job done.

Cardinals vs. Giants:

Both of these teams pulled of a big comeback, Giants down 2-0, Cards down 2-1 and down 6-0 in game 5 on the road. Neither of these teams give up, which is why this series can easily go 7. The Cards never seem to go down in must win games, down to their final strike yet again. Though the Giants pulled off a good come back, it took a Posey grand slam to win that game. I believe the Cards will win this simply because they have more heart.
