BREAKING NEWS:

Isaac Hamilton has officially committed to UTEP. He picked UNLV, and SDSU over them and he was #25 on the top 100. We have updated our recruiting boards to show SDSU fans who has yet to commit.

UPDATE:

As it is to many San Diego State fans, me and the staff here at Double SD, are in shock over Hamilton’s choice to attend UTEP and not even go to a school such as SDSU or UNLV. I personally would like to wish him the best at UTEP. Furthermore, this only weakness the potential for next year’s team with the unknown questions of Winston to go into the NBA, and Tapley and there is always J-Frank who could be possibly leaving. We will have to wait and see how next year’s recruiting pans out because right now, it’ll look like we’ll have a very athletic team similar to the one we had 2 season’s ago with an emphasis on rebounding with James Johnson, O’Brien, and Polee just to name a few. But why think of the future? SDSU has a high powered team as it is, and it may turn recruits’ choices of where to go in the following months or at least we hope so. The Aztecs currently sit 25th in the AP poll and are looking to win as they play Missouri State. One question for Aztec fans, who would like to see Aaron Gordon (Drew Gordon’s brother) commit to SDSU?  He’s a top recruit who plays in California, and though he isn’t considering SDSU at the moment, State has offered him a scholarship and has shown interest in recruiting Gordon.
