SDSU Soccer: SDSU Men’s Club Soccer Finishes 13-3-3

Note from the San Diego State  Men’s Club Soccer team’s head Coach..

“We just got back from Memphis. We were competing in the Nirsa National Open Cup tournament. There were 24 teams from across the country. Not sure if this is news worthy for you, but we won; finishing the season 13-3-3. We had to win 6 games in three days.” – Adam Kulpa

The Aztecs defeated Missouri, Cincinnati, and Cal to win the Nirsa National Open Cup tournament (Div 2 National Championship).

The 19th Annual NIRSA NCCS National Soccer Championships, November 15 – 17, 2012 will be help in Memphis, Tennessee at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex. The Open Division will be expanded this year to 24 men’s and 24 women’s teams (an increase of 8 teams per division). The Championship Division will be 24 men’s and 24 women’s teams. Teams MUST qualify for the Championship Division. The at-large bids for the Championship Division will be awards on Monday, October 29. NIRSA.org
