The following Aztecs participated in today’s Pro Day at San Diego State Ryan Katz, Brice Butler, Dominique Sandifer, Gavin Escobar (NFL Draft Bio), Josh Wade, Leon McFadden (NFL Draft Bio), Nate Embernate, Walter kazee, Chance Marden and Riley Gauld. Today I went over to SDSU with the goal of getting photos and videos of all the San Diego State athletes on Pro Day. This changed when I heard Brice Butler’s agent wanted to know about how his day went. So a lot of the video and photos from today’s Pro Day are of Brice Butler and Gavin Escobar.

Brice Butler the transfer from USC first try at the 40 today yielded a 4:35. Below in the video section of this article we have Butler’s first 40 yard attempt of the day. The Bears, Chargers, Falcons, Seahawks and Saints showed interest in Butler.

Gavin Escobar’s second try at the 40 today yielded a 4.70. This time is a vast improvement from his combine time of 4.87. Below in the video section of this article we have Escobar’s first 40 yard attempt of the day. Escobar talked to all 26 scouts who were in attendance. The 49ers, Buccaneers and Dolphins are looking at Escobar the most.

Leon McFadden decided to let his combine numbers stand. Every team (26) approached McFadden today but only the Chargers and the Patriots stood out!

There were about 26 different teams that sent scouts out to view SDSU’s Pro Day. Some of the scouts that we saw entering the practice facility were from the Bangles, Broncos, Browns, Buccaneers, Cardinals, Chargers, Chiefs, Dolphins, Falcons, Patriots, Saints, Seahawks, 49ers and Redskins. We will look through the photographs and add the rest of the scouts when we have time.
