I had the opportunity to conduct an interview with a shooting guard from the class of 2015, Mohamed Touray. (Touray: Wings Academy and AAU:New York Lightning 15U – 2015) Touray is a 6’2″ and 160 pound shooting guard out of Bronx, New York. He is one of the best shooting guards in the class of 2015. I created a list of 11 questions that I believe our audience would find interesting about the life of a young basketball recruit. These are the questions that I asked Touray, followed with his answers.

Question: Which schools have expressed the most interest in you?
Mohamed Touray: Boston University , Notre Dame University , Dayton University
Question: Do you have a top 5?
Mohamed Touray: I Don’t Have A Top 5.
Question: Do you have a dream university?
Mohamed Touray: University of Florida.
Question: What do you look for in a University?
Mohamed Touray: A University Thats Gonna Help Me academically and athletically.
Question: Does the fan base of the university make an impact on your recruitment?
Mohamed Touray: No It Doesn’t Matter Looking for a university the fits me.
Question: Based on national media and fan bases, does it matter what conference you play in?
Mohamed Touray: I’ll just go to a univertsity that im gonna feel comfortable and is gonna be my family for 4 years.
Question: What are your strengths?
Mohamed Touray: I could make my teammate better, I’m competitive, Shooting and Ballhandiling.
Question: What do you consider to be your best attribute?
Mohamed Touray: I like to attack the basket and finish with contact. Extremely high basketball IQ,court vision and scoring ability.
Question: What would you say your work ethic is like?
Mohamed Touray: Always In the gym working hard.
Question: Name a college or NBA athlete that people compare you to. What college or NBA athlete do you idolize and how do their skill sets match yours?
Mohamed Touray: People compare me to quincy miller, and idolize quincy miller and kevin durant. There competitive Like me, and they love to attack.
