SDSU Basketball: SDSU #1 With Dakarai Allen?
Dakarai Allen is one of the best small forwards in the nation. Dakarai Allen is from Sheldon High School and AAU: Play Hard Play Smart from Sacramento, California. Allen is 6’5 and weights 172 lbs. Dakari Allen holds offers from Colorado, Oregon State, Pepperdine, Saint Mary’s, San Diego State, San Francisco, UCSB and USC, Allen has interest in Arizona, Arizona State, Cal Poly, California, Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Oregon, Providence, Stanford, UC Davis, UCLA, UNLV, Utah, UTEP, Washington and Washington State.
Dakarai Allen is a long wing with significant upside. He’s a terrific defender who is at his best in the open court, where he makes the right pass or slashes to the basket. While he can knock down the open three, his shot is still inconsistent and it’s a definite area of improvement moving forward. Allen’s offense needs to improve but his length and athleticism give him very good building blocks to improve on and his ceiling is quite high. Scout.com

The following paragraph is from cbssports.com:
Now, colleges all over the West coast are looking to pick up Allen and immediately improve their team defense. San Diego State, Colorado, Arizona, USC, UCLA, Tennessee, LSU and some other regional schools are in the mix. He has taken trips to UNLV, UCLA and Pepperdine, with the campuses and facilities of UNLV and UCLA standing out. Allen isn’t ready to name a favorite yet, but one school is making a serious push Allen is ranked as the No. 17 small forward in the class of 2013. cbssports.com
