As most Olympic fans are now aware, San Diego has a tremendous amount of athletes participating in the London 2012 Olympic games. We are doing the best to give our locals some props. Below you will see the schedules and scores of the Men’s Water Polo, Men’s Indoor Volleyball and Women’s Soccer teams. Men’s Indoor Volleyball

The US Men’s Indoor volleyball team which includes Alpine’s David Lee, Tierrasanta’s Rich Lambourne and Encinitas’ Reid Priddy, now will face the world’s top two teams.

Women’s Soccer

The U.S. women’s soccer team beat North Korea with a score 1 – 0 Tuesday. The Americans, including local Rachel Buehler, completed a 3 – 0 run in Olympic group play. They are looking forward to single elimination play which starts on August 3rd.

Men’s Water Polo

The U.S. men’s water polo team beat Romania 10 – 8 Tuesday. The win puts the U.S. team, at the top of Group B. Local members of the U.S. team includes Coronado High School alums Jesse Smith and Layne Beaubien.
