Brandon Porter is an 6’0″, 200 pound athlete from John Curtis Christian High School in river Ridge, Louisiana. Porter plays both running back and safety. He runs a 4.6 forty yard sprint. Porter held offers from McNeese State, North Texas, San Diego State and held interest in Colorado, La Lafayette, La Monroe, Louisiana Tech, LSU, Mississippi, Northwestern, Tulane and ULM.

Brandon Porter was on the San Diego State campus today when he committed. He is expected to join the San Diego State Defense.

Several years ago, San Diego State had a pretty darn good RB from the New Orleans metro area. His name: Marshall Faulk, of course. The Aztecs are looking to strike gold again in the Crescent City by offering John Curtis Christian athlete Brandon Porter, who could play RB, SS or even LB in college. SDSU coach Tony White wants to try Porter first in the secondary. Scout.com
