The Aztecs were led by back up quarterback Adam Dingwell (Happy 21st Birthday) who had to come into the game after Ryan Katz was carted off the field.The San Diego State run defense shutdown the best running back in the nation S Jefferson. Jefferson was limited to 32 carries for 108 yards and 1 touchdown. San Diego State back up quarterback Adam Dingwell went 14 for 23 for 177 yards and 3 touchdowns. The fast paced Aztec run game Walter Kazee had 15 carries for 58 yards and 1 touchdown. Adam Muema had 13 carries for 47 yards and no touchdowns.

Now some bad news for #SDSU: Rocky Long just confirmed that starting QB Ryan Katz is done for the year.
