San Diego Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding has been placed on the injured reserve. This is big news during the Chargers bye week. Once a NFL team places a player on the injured reserve the team is forced to release the player once he becomes healthy. Nick Novak will be the Chargers kicker of the future now that Nate Kaeding has been placed on IR. During Nate Kaeding’s career as a Charger he became the most accurate kicker in the NFL with an average field goal percentage rate of 86.83%.

The San Diego Chargers have been through a lot with Nate Kaeding being the most accurate kicker in the NFL to becoming one of the most hated Chargers during the playoffs. We ask will Nate Kaeding be remembered for his accuracy or for missing multiple field goals that could have extended the Chargers into the next playoff rounds?
