SDSU Basketball: Aztecs Land 20th In The AP Top 25 Poll.

The AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll was released today. The AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll is compiled from votes by 64 sportswriters and broadcasters from across the country. After all of the votes had been tallied San Diego State found themselves in 20th place. That is five spots higher than the dream team (34-3) season ranking of 25th place. This is the highest San Diego State has ever been ranked in school history in the first poll of the season.
Below are three teams that San Diego State will place this season and their rankings.
Battle On The Midway (Nov 9th) Syracuse = 9th
Wooden Classic (Dec. 1st) UCLA = 13th
Mountain West Conference Foe UNLV = 18th
Some AP writers are apparent haters of San Diego State and decided to exclude SDSU in their AP ballot. Those writers are Cormac Gordon, Elton Alexander, Matt McCoy, Ron Morris and John Feinstein. The writers who ranked SDSU the highest are Scott Mansch (10th), Mark Berman (11th) and J.P. Butler (13th).
