As everyone knows the San Diego State Aztecs told Alabama that they were not willing to play them next year as the 2013 schedule was full. It has since been reported that the Ohio State Buckeyes are looking to drop Vanderbilt and pick up a game vs. San Diego State. The game between Ohio State and San Diego State would take place in Columbus, Ohio on September 7th. The problem being the San Diego State Aztecs were scheduled to play at Utah State. We have now received word that Utah State has officially dropped the game vs. San Diego State off of the schedule.

This is what the adjusted schedule would look like.

Date Opponent / Event Location
08/31/13 vs. Eastern Illinois Qualcomm Stadium
09/07/13 at. Ohio State Columbus, Ohio
09/14/13 at. San Jose State San Jose, California
09/21/13 vs. Oregon State Qualcomm Stadium

We are going to list the teams on the Aztecs side of the Big East to give everyone a view of what the schedule could look like. When taking a look at the schedule we have heard the two separate divisions (East and West) will rotate one to two games at the end of each season. So San Diego State could be playing one to two teams from the eastern division of the Big East Conference. We however are unsure about the rotation as barely no information has been released about how the schedule will be broken down.
