SDSU Basketball: Aztecs will compete in 2014 EA SPORTS Maui Invitational.

San Diego State is one of eight teams set to compete in the 2014 EA SPORTS Maui Invitational. The Maui invitational takes place during mid November. The Maui invitational is also known as the early tournament.

The Aztecs will be joined by the host school Chaminade,

  • Arizona
  • Brigham Young
  • Kansas State
  • Missouri
  • Pittsburgh
  • Purdue.

The teams who are currently competing in the Maui invitational is the host university Chaminade,

  • Butler
  • Illinois,
  • Marquette,
  • Mississippi State
  • North Carolina
  • Texas
  • USC

In all, 93 schools representing 23 conferences and 39 states have competed in the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational, with Maui participants having won an astounding 62 of 73 NCAA championships and 58 of 73 national runner-up spots while comprising 239 of 292 Final Four teams. Mauiinvitational.com
