San Diego State Fan’s reactions to the Big East move can be lumped into two categories. The Categories are the Young and Old generation. This is a major problem with the SDSU fan base. The fan base is spilt down the middle between these two age gaps.

The Young Generation:
The younger San Diego State fans are glued to their Men’s basketball team. They do not want to move to the Big East Conference because of how much the basketball program will fall in the Big West Conference.

The Older Generation:
The older San Diego State fans are glued to the rise of SDSU prominence in Athletics and Academics. They would like San Diego State to have a national audience and they have no problem with moving Aztecs football to the Big East in order to make the move.

San Diego State Football Schedule
Below is the San Diego State football schedule for the next season. The Aztecs will be playing regardless of a move to the Big East or Mountain West Conference.

Home: Eastern Illinois
At: Ohio State
Home: Oregon State
At: New Mexico State
