San Diego Sports: Farmers Insurance Open (Preview)

The Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course is only one day away. This years Farmers open will show case some of the world’s best golfers. A few big names that people will see out on the course are Tiger Woods (6x time Farmers Open Champion) San Diego’s own Phil Mickelson, John Daly, Stewart Sink, VIjay Singh and Jeff Ogilvy.

The biggest names in golf have been will all tee off in two main superstar groups. Group one includes Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler and Nick Watney will tee off at 10:30 a.m. Thursday local time on the first tee at the South Course. Group two includes Phil Mickelson, Brandt Snedeker (Defending Champion) and Bubba Watson will tee off at 9:30 a.m. Thursday local time on the North Course’s 10th tee.

Thu./Fri, 3-7 p.m. ET on Golf Channel;

Sat. 1-2:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, 3-6 p.m. ET on CBS;

Sun. 1-2:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, 3-6:30 p.m. ET on CBS
