San Diego State Basketball picked up a major commitment last night from one of the best forwards in the nation, Malik Pope. Malik Pope now becomes the highest ranked commit in San Diego State history. - 19th best player in the 2014 class
Pope has all the physical tools to be a terrific player at the collegiate level. At 6-foot-8, he’s an explosive wing that can run the floor and has the ball skills to be able to thrive on the perimeter. He’s got three-point range, but at this point in his development, he’s more of a slasher than he is a standstill jump-shooter. – College Basketball Talk NBC Sports

Adding Malik Pope to Trey Kell and Kevin Zabo is great for SDSU. Easily one of the best recruiting classes on the West Coast right now
