SAN DIEGO – FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) will be televising a full day of race coverage on Opening Day at Del Mar, Thursday, July 17, beginning with a special two-hour edition of #SDLive starting at 12:00 PM PST.

Broadcasting live from the paddock at the Del Mar Racetrack, #SDLive host, Mike Pomeranz joins FOX Sports horse racing analyst Kevin Gorg to provide insight and analysis leading into the day’s live race coverage. #SDLive co-host Brook Roberts and FSSD special reporter, Bonnie-Jill Laflin will join the crew to provide exclusive interviews, special features and fashion reports from around the track. Features will include exclusive interviews with California Chrome’s trainer Art Sherman from Harris Farms, leading jockey at Del Mar, Joe Talamo, the 20th Anniversary Hat Contest and much more.

Opening Day at Del Mar coverage starts with #SDLive from 12:00 PM PST to 2:00 PM PST, followed by live race coverage courtesy of TVG through 7:00 PM PST on FOX Sports San Diego.
