Guest appearance on the Morning Michelle Radio Show
Last Friday @SportSXMichelle invited me to appear on her online radio show called @MorningMichelle to talk about the life of my idol Tony Gwynn Senior. I attempt to give those who have never met Tony Gwynn a perspective on what he means to the City of San Diego.
I talked about what Tony Gwynn ment to me, San Diego State, San Diego Padres and Major League Baseball. We talked about the out cry of support San Diego received after Fox Sports and MLB forgot to recognize him during the All Star Game. My interview is about an hour-long. I hope that you will listen to my interview and like what I have to say. Please feel free to share your memories of Tony Gwynn in the comments. Underneath the photo of the Tony Gwynn statue we have embedded our memorial video of Tony Gwynn for those who could not make it out to San Diego shortly after Mr. Padre passed.
***FYI I did this radio show sitting in the middle of my industrial court-yard near the PR Firm that I work at. I did mess up one stat during the show since I was not in-front of a computer. The only player with a higher batting average since World War II than Tony Gwynn is Ted Williams.***
