San Diego State Overall (1-1) Conf (0-0)

Two weeks ago at North Carolina San Diego State suffered a major injury as star WR Ezell Ruffin broke his collarbone. Ruffin is expected to be out for at least 6 to 12 weeks. San Diego State has multiple weapons on the offensive side of the ball. The three players to look out for would be QB Quinn Kaehler, RB Donnel Pumphrey and WR Eric Judge. Kaehler has completed 41 of 68 passes for 546 yards and two touchdowns. Pumphrey has had 36 carries for 220 yards and four touchdowns. With the injury to Ruffin, Eric Judge now becomes the prime target of QB Quinn Kaehler.  In the first two weeks of the season Judge has 8 receptions for 145 yards (72.5 YPG) and a touchdown.

Oregon State University 2-0 and Conf (0-0)

Last season Oregon State Quarterback Sean Mannion threw for 367 yards and three touchdowns. The San Diego State defensive will be looking go after Mannion in Saturdays game.  The Aztecs came after Mannion last year but were unable to cause any turnovers. This year you can expect the Aztec defense to bring tons of pressure to get the Victory. Mannion is either going to be fast enough to hit his targets or the Aztec defense will have a great day in the turnover battle. The top three players to look out for on the Oregon State team are QB Sean Mannion, WR Victor Bolden and WR Connor Hamlett. Bolden & Hamlett are the two favorite targets of Mannion and have combined for 25 catches totaling 316 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Oregon State running game looks a lot like that of San Diego State’s two-headed running attack. Terron Ward & Storm Woods have combined for 51 carries totaling 330 yards and two touchdowns.
