Padres Ratings Finish 25% Above Last Year Padres Games on FOX Sports San Diego Ranked Third-Highest Programming on TV

SAN DIEGO – 2014 Padres baseball on FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) recorded the highest-rated season ever in the network’s history, finishing 25% above last season. Since the start of the 2014 MLB season, Padres telecasts on FOX Sports San Diego were the third highest-rated and third most-viewed programming on television in San Diego.

Padres telecasts averaged a 3.33 household rating and nearly 36,000 households in prime time (7:00 PM-11:00 PM), +34% higher than the No. 4-ranked KGTV ABC (2.49) during the same period.*

Additional Ratings Notes:

· Padres ratings finish at a 3.06 HH average rating – up 25% over 2013.
· 26 Padres games garnered a 4.0 or higher in 2014. By comparison, eight games garnered a 4.0 or higher in 2013.
· Padres Live pre-game show ratings are up 47%.
· Padres Live post-game show ratings are up 9%.
· August 2014 recorded the highest-rated month in the network’s history for Padres baseball – 3.59.
· This season’s Padres vs. Braves (8/2) game produced the highest-rated telecast ever on FOX Sports San Diego (5.4) beating out the Padres vs. Yankees game on 8/4/13 (5.2).
· In two side-by-side instances this season, FOX Sports San Diego dominated ESPN’s telecast locally – Padres vs. Dodgers on 8/20 (4.14 HH vs. 1.52 HH) and Padres vs. Diamondbacks on 9/3 (4.23 HH vs. .76 HH).
