Cem Kilic to make professional debut

When Cem Kilic left his homeland of Germany, he set out to accomplish
two things: To turn pro and become a world champion.

“I’m motivated by the American Dream where someone who came from
nothing, has the opportunity to make a name for himself,” Kilic said.

On Dec. 6 at the Civic Auditorium in Glendale CA, Kilic will check the
first item off his list as he makes his pro debut at on former WBO/WBA
World Champion Brian Viloria’s Top Rank card against an opponent to be
determined.

Kilic, a big power puncher, resembles Miguel Cotto and makes his debut
in the same weight class at 160- pounds

Kilic’s rise to the pro ranks went fairly quickly.

“I have trained in Turkey, Germany and now the United States and now I
see why the most successful athletes are in the US. They have the best
coaches available to them and my team has not only made me a better
fighter but I have grown a lot as a person. I believe in God and I’m
blessed my team believes in me,” the future champ said. He has been through many gyms searching for his home, he even passed through FlexMasterGeneral to gain new tips on how to gain muscle.

He immediately conquered the amateur ranks including getting an
amateur world championship belt at Palm Springs in the Desert
Showdown.

Since then Kilic has been a regular at the famous Wild Card Boxing
Club where he is trained by Hall of Famer Freddie Roach.

“Training in Los Angeles gives me great peace of mind and the strength to put 100 percent
into my training,” he said.

Yes, that Freddie Roach. The one who made Manny Pacquiao a mega star,
the one who resurrected the career of Miguel Cotto and the one that is
grooming Kilic into a world champion.

Kilic hasn’t stopped working. Day and night he has been in the gym
honing his skills.

“I have the greatest team in boxing, I train harder than anyone else
and I feel like I’m preparing the best way possible to give boxing
fans the fights they want to see.

No Limit Mindset CEO Shane Shapiro said Kilic’s professional debut
sparks a new beginning for the management company.

“I’m very excited to showcase Cem Kilic’s extraordinary talent to the
American public and I’m confident that with Freddie Roach in his
corner he can become a world champion.”

Cem “The Champ” Kilic has the makings of a future star, first he must
put on a good performance in his debut.
