SAN DIEGO – FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) will broadcast three University of San Diego (USD) men’s basketball non-conference home games this season beginning with the Toreros season opener versus Florida A&M on Nov. 19.

Returning to call play-by-play for FOX Sports San Diego’s Torero telecasts will be long-time sports broadcaster, Eddie Doucette. Former Toreros head basketball coach Brad Holland will assume the analyst spot and former USD Torero standout, J.T. Rogan will be reporting from the sidelines.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with the University of San Diego this season,” said Henry Ford, Senior Vice President and General Manager, FOX Sports San Diego. “The university has a rich history of producing well prepared student athletes and we hope to help convey that message as we enter our third season of televising a select number of Toreros games.”

The first broadcast, USD’s opener against the Florida A&M Rattlers, is set to tip at 7:00 PM on FOX Sports San Diego. This is only the second head-to-head battle between the teams in nearly five years.

The Toreros return to FSSD the following week to take on Western Michigan in the 2014 Wooden Legacy on Monday, Nov. 24 at 7:00 PM. This will be USD’s first face-off against David Brown and the current Mid-American Conference champions.

Three weeks later, the University of New Orleans Privateers will make their way across the country to challenge the Toreros on Saturday, Dec. 13. This will be the final Toreros broadcast on FSSD for the 2014-15 season.
