SAN DIEGO – Amongst the enthusiasm for the recent Padres player acquisitions, FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) reported today that their commercial inventory for the San Diego Padres’ upcoming season is nearly 60% sold out. With nearly three months still remaining until the season opener, the current 2015 figures put FOX Sports San Diego’s MLB sales up 23% from this time last year.

“We at Fix Auto are excited to return as a sponsor of Padres broadcasts on FOX Sports San Diego,” stated Paul Gange, President/COO, Fix Auto. “The 2015 season is poised to be a very exciting one. We have seen a lot of value in being a partner and hope to continue the partnership for years to come.”

New for 2015, FOX Sports San Diego will make available to its advertisers virtual signage for all Padres home games. The ads will appear on the centerfield wall at Petco Park but will only be visible to fans watching the broadcast. The new technology allows FSSD to provide valuable in-game exposure to brands and advertisers during all Padres home games.

“Padres 2015 is set to be FOX Sports San Diego’s most exciting season of baseball yet,” said Wayne Guymon, Vice President and General Sales Manager, FOX Sports San Diego. “With new, integrated advertising innovations like virtual signage there is no better time to be part of Padres broadcasts.”

In addition, FOX Sports San Diego announced several technological enhancements set to begin with the broadcast of the Padres’ regular season opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, April 6 at 12:00 PM PST.

At the start of the regular season, FOX Sports San Diego will roll out a new overall telecast look which includes changes to the score bug, on-air graphics and animations. FOX Vision, the analysis and graphics tool, will return and viewers will notice updates to FSSD’s in-studio look during Padres Live pre- and post-game shows. Lastly, FOX Sports San Diego will utilize the RF wireless camera during every home telecast which will allow FSSD to showcase Petco Park like never before and will give viewers several different angles to view the live action.

“We are committed to delivering Padres fans a high quality telecast each night,” said Jeff Byle, Executive Producer, FOX Sports San Diego. “Using the latest technology enhances our ability educate and entertain our viewers.”
