SDSU Men’s Water Polo Lands MVP
After a second place finish in the national championship tournament, the SDSU Men’s club water polo team landed 4 players on the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) all league teams, including the league MVP. Coach Larry Sanders was also selected Coach of the Year. This is no easy task as the PCC is unanimously the toughest conference in the nation. The selections are as follows:
Coach of the Year: Larry Sanders
League MVP and First team all PCC: Nassim Hmeidan, So.
Second Team all PCC:
Tim Huson (Goalie), So.
Phillip Tran, So.
Josh Heller, Fr.
Hmeidan was also selected as the National Tournament MVP after turning in a monster performance. What’s interesting to note here is that the SDSU players selected are all sophomores and freshman. Suffice it say, the future for the team looks very bright. Congrats on a great season!
