What: Eric Weddle from the San Diego Chargers will be announcing the National Domestic Violence Campaign for the Alliance for Hope with Casey Gwinn. He will be running thru our sponsors employees, giving “HOPE fives” to everyone, and receiving a donation check upon completion. This new awareness campaign will make sure every victim of domestic violence in the nation knows that they have a safe haven to escape to, for all their needs, provided at no cost to them. This symbol of a “HOPE five” will be spread across the nation by high profile individuals along with a grassroots movement by individuals, all posting “HOPE fives” on social media and making others smile. We will also be having a day of HOPE for San Diego, March 27th, where all partner venues will be giving their patrons a HOPE five for the cause.

Our goal with your help: To raise awareness and funds for Alliance for Hope, a 501(c)(3) charity that provides for victims of domestic violence and supports children affected by domestic violence in hopes to break the cycle an abusive environment creates. We hope to raise awareness by spreading hope and smiles everywhere with high fives aka “Hope Fives”, encouraging people everywhere to wear a “Hope” bracelet and to make donations.



How you can help: (Details for grassroots individuals joining the HOPE five campaign)

• Film a fun, silly, creative, sexy, athletic, unique or boring high five aka “HOPE Five” to be posted on IG, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or any other social media you have.

• List the domestic violence charity in your description: http://www.allianceforhope.com

• Challenge and tag three specific individuals (influential social people) to “Give HOPE” either in the form of a donation or to post a “Hope Five” video within the next 24 hours, tagging 3 additional people to do the same.

• Hashtag #HopeFive #AllianceForHopeFive

• Concept: Similar to the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, just easier and making people smile with a Hope Five.
