This past Monday was San Diego Sports Domination’s three-year anniversary.

The idea for San Diego Sports Domination was conceived three years ago after we were let go from the FanSided.com network (Covering San Diego State).The San Diego Union Tribune had just put in place a pay wall forcing sports fans to pay for the paper. We determined as a group that San Diego needed a website devoted to covering San Diego Sports in-depth with no cost to readers.

We have been guests on many radio shows including Mighty 1090, Xtra Sports 1360, ESPN 1700 San Diego, Talk Now San Antonio, SB Nation Podcasts and many more.

We are now followed by many members of the local and national sports media like: Fox Sports San Diego, Scott Kaplan, Billy Ray Smith, Coach John Kentura and Dan Sileo (Mighty 1090), Ernie Martinez (Xtra Sports 1360), David Gascon (Fox Sports Radio), Kelly Crull (FSSD Reporter), Brie Thiele (FSSD), Tania Milberg (FSSD), Stefanie Loh ‏(SDUT Sports Reporter), Sam Farmer (LA Times NFL Reporter), Karen Kay (NBC Sports Radio LA), Chris Duel (Spurs Radio), Rich Kurtzman (CBS/Examiner Denver) and many more.

We are part of many media lists both locally and nationally. In the past three years we have worked hard to bring San Diego reliable coverage of San Diego Sports with game previews and recaps for San Diego State Football and Basketball. We were awarded one of the best college sports blogs by eCollege Finder in 2013! One of 28 sports blogs nationally to win this award and the only sports blog in the great state of California. Only a total of four blogs on the west coast won the award. The award was given to us because of our great coverage of San Diego State Football and Basketball. In 2014 we were named one of the Top 10 blogs in San Diego regardless of category by Our City San Diego Magazine. This award was given to us thanks to our great coverage of everything San Diego and San Diego Sports Related. We have worked hard to publish news articles on the San Diego Padres and San Diego Chargers. We will begin publishing game previews for the San Diego Chargers this coming fall.

For the past three years we have been the official media sponsor for the San Diego Flash Pro Soccer Club here in San Diego. Since our second anniversary we have added media sponsorship’s with three more teams the San Diego Surf (ABA Basketball), Oceanside A Team (ABA Basketball) and the San Diego Hornets. We do everything from running social media, dealing with professional media, live tweeting games and filming games.

SanDiegoSportsDomination.com receives over 100 views on a daily basis and over 4,000 views a month (During the off-season). During the San Diego State Football season we receive between 300 to 800 views on a daily basis. During the San Diego State Basketball season we receive between 800 to 4,000 hits per day. We were the first blog nationally to post all of the leaked AP Top 25 Ballots for Basketball the night before they were released.

We have made leaps and strides to make San Diego Sports Domination your destination for San Diego Sports News and we could not have done it with out the photos of Tony Amat and Edwin Dickerson.
