All New #SDLive Previews Saturday’s SDSU vs. USD Matchup at Qualcomm Stadium

SAN DIEGO – FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) will debut a special college football road edition of #SDLive featuring SDSU football head coach Rocky Long and running back Donnel Pumphrey, as well as USD football head coach Dale Lindsey and defensive lineman Josh Williams. Tonight’s episode of #SDLive will focus on the crosstown gridiron matchup between SDSU and USD, who will meet for just the second time on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Qualcomm Stadium.

#SDLive host Mike Pomeranz visits the campus of San Diego State University to catch up with Coach Long and Pumphrey about Saturday’s season debut. Long previews the matchup and describes his overall season expectations for this year’s team. Pumphrey talks about his record breaking season last year and shares his new goals moving forward. In addition, Long and Pumphrey chat about the attention of the team’s new uniforms and life beyond football.

Pomeranz then travels to the campus of University of San Diego to sit down with Coach Lindsey and Williams to get their thoughts and expectations for Saturday. Lindsey describes how the team is prepping for the matchup and shares his mindset going into the weekend. Williams describes his mantra as a team leader and shares his story and work ethic.

This episode of #SDLive will debut immediately following live coverage of San Diego Padres vs. Texas Rangers beginning at 6:30 PM PST on FOX Sports San Diego.
