What:
San Diego State Water Polo has partnered with the Blood Cancer Deleting non-profit, Be a Hero, Become A Donor. BAHBAD was inspired by the loss of Evan Cousineau, and the need for potential candidates for the bone marrow registry. Many of us have either played or coached in the Evan Cousineau Cup, and this event is an opportunity to carry on the tradition in collegiate sports. Please stop by the booth throughout the Aztec Invite to find out more information, or to register!

“Did you know that 70% of patients needing a Bone Marrow Transplant must look to the national registry to find a compatible match? Bone Marrow transplants are now being used to treat many types of cancer, blood disorders, and genetic metabolic diseases, so the need for donors is greater than ever. All it takes to register is one form and two painless swabs of your cheeks and you could be on the road to saving a life! Visit the Be A Hero Become A Donor event and let us swab your cheeks!”

When:
