The 2017 Patriots Hockey All-Star Game was a farewell to their beloved Captain #53 Marv “Doc” Floer II who is shipping out to Japan. Marv created the Patriots back in 2011 and it has transformed into something amazing. Tryouts last week had over 100 + guys and now they will be fielding multiple teams besides the tournament team. This was his last skate with the team before he ships out. It was an honor for us to cover the event. Photos are by Tony Amat (Team Shots) and David Frerker (Action Shots). A few months ago we found the Patriots Hockey team.

It has been an honor to cover them for San Diego Sports Domination and to be able to give back to the military community in this special way. This is one of the reasons we decided to create San Diego Sports Domination. Just because you don’t live in San Diego doesn’t mean you don’t care about your teams. Marv and other military players are able to see our content around the world when they are not home and it is something that we take very seriously.
