CrazyTown X, the band known for its hit single “Butterfly,” set to perform at San Diego Strike Force home opener

SAN DIEGO STRIKE FORCE PRESS RELEASE

CrazyTown X, the band best known for the 2000 hit single, “Butterfly,” will perform at the San Diego Strike Force’s March 3, 2019 home opener at Pechanga Arena San Diego, the team announced today.

The Strike Force will host the Tucson Sugar Skulls in their home opener on Sunday, March 3. Kickoff is 5:05 p.m. PT. It also marks the first game in franchise history.

Playing a blend of rock, rap and hip-hop, CrazyTown X’s hit song, Butterfly, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and their debut album, The Gift of Game, sold more than 1.5 million albums. The band has toured all around the world and sold millions of records. Subsequent album releases include Darkhorse and The Brimstone Sluggers.

The band rebranded itself in 2017 as CrazyTown X and currently features bandmembers Seth BinzerRick DixonRoland BanksPhilip Nielsen and Mathew Weatherspoon.

Tickets for all seven Strike Force home games at Pechanga Arena are currently on sale through the team’s official website, www.sdstrikeforce.com.

Parking will be FREE for all fans attending San Diego Strike Force games at Pechanga Arena.

Ticket prices vary by location. Club and group ticket packages are also available.
