Southern CA Regional Division 4-A (Photo Gallery)

The La Jolla Vikings was predicted by many to drop this game against the Marina Vikings from Westminster, CA. Both La Jolla and Marina are called the Vikings. So we had some Viking on Viking action as both schools had never made it into the state playoffs. The La Jolla offense has two big scoring plays in the first half. A 44 yard touchdown pass from Jackson Stratton to Diego Solis to tie the game at 7. Later in the half…The La Jolla Vikings tied the game (14-14)on a 34 yard touchdown run by Max Smith.

The La Jolla Vikings defense has to be the best D3 Defense in the state. They shut down Marina in the 2nd half only allowing one first down and less than 40 yards of total offense. The La Jolla Vikings would add two more touchdown passes to the Stratton and Solis express. Check out photos from the first La Jolla Southern CA Regional Division 4-A victory in School History!
