Pala to host as 2020 Strike Force Training Camp Headquarters

SAN DIEGO, California (February 14, 2020) – The Strike Force has partnered with Pala Casino for the 2020 Indoor Football League (IFL) season to include the first week of training camp in Pala, CA.

“We are excited to partner with the San Diego Strike Force,” said Coley McAvoy, spokesperson for Pala. “Northern San Diego County has always been home to the Pala Band.  Partnering with another local team that understands the importance of community, all while competing to be the best within its industry, is the epitome of corporate alignment.”

Along with the sponsorship, fans will have the opportunity to attend viewing parties and participate in ticket giveaways throughout the season at Pala’s Luis Rey’s Sports Bar. The Strike Force team will be utilizing the resort as their training camp headquarters for the week prior to their 2020 season kickoff on Sunday, March 8th in Bismarck, North Dakota.  Guests who attend Strike Force games and sign up for a Privileges Card will also receive an exclusive sign up offer.

The Strike Force will kick off their 2020 training camp on Saturday, February 22 and utilize Pala and surrounding facilities, in total, from Friday, February 21 – Sunday, March 1.

In addition to team activities, the Strike Force will be partnering with Pala to host a series of free youth football camps throughout the week of training camp in Northern San Diego County. Camps will feature participants from the Pala Youth Center, Boys & Girls Clubs, and local youth football teams with the target age groups of 8-13 yards of age.

“This partnership goes beyond football and is aligned with our team’s mission of uniting and inspiring our community,” said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. “Pala’s vision of going beyond their resort facilities with the goal of being a positive impact in our community is the foundation of this partnership. We’re looking forward to a great 2020 training camp with our teammates at Pala.”

During training camp, practices will be open to the general public and media. The team’s practice schedule will be published in the coming week with daily itineraries and practice field locations.
