Mountain West Conference Bowl Breakdown.

1st Place) Macco Bowl Las Vegas (Boise State)
2nd Place) Poinsettia Bowl (San Diego State) Locked In
3rd Place) New Mexico (Fresno State)
4th Place) Armed Forces Bowl (AFA is auto in)
5th Place) Hawai’i Bowl (Nevada)

Tie breaker rules

The Mountain West Conference does not have any rules regarding tie breakers. For the San Diego State and Fresno State fans here is where the three teams stand. SDSU lost to Fresno State. SDSU beat Boise State and Boise State beat Fresno State. San Diego State will stay in San Diego. Boise State and Fresno State are both up in the air.
