MWC Bowl Game Update: 3 of 5 MWC Teams Accept Bowl Invites

We now almost have the complete bowl game picture for the Mountain West Conference. Below is a simple chart to show you what teams have been invited to what bowl games. The only Mountain West conference teams that have yet to receive a bowl game invite are Boise State and Fresno State. If Boise State wins against Nevada on December 2nd they will be playing in the Maaco Bowl in Las Vegas and Fresno State will be playing in the Hawai”i bowl in Honolulu. We will know the outcome of those bowls after Boise States last game of the year.

I am going to be making a prediction for the bowl game that Boise State will enter. Boise State will be going to the Maaco Bowl in Las Vegas Nevada. Boise State has a very slim chance of being invited to a BCS bowl game. That would then land Fresno State in the Hawaii bowl against Southern Methodist University (SMU).

1 Maaco Bowl (LV) Las Vegas, Nevada Boise St. vs.
2 Poinsettia Bowl San Diego, California BYU vs. SDSU
3 Armed Forces Bowl Fort Worth, Texas AFA vs.
4 New Mexico Bowl Albuquerque, New Mexico NEV vs.
5 Hawai’i Bowl Honolulu, Hawaii Fresno St. vs. SMU
